A JOGUNK A VÁROSHOZ: A VÁROSI ÁLLAMPOLGÁRSÁG ERŐSÍTÉSE KÖZÉP-KELET EURÓPÁBAN az Artemisszió Alapítvány hosszú tavú projektje, melynek célja, hogy erősítse a párbeszédet a közép-kelet európai régió fővárosainak emberi jogi aktivistái között.
Henry Lefebvre francia szociológus és David Harvey brit földrajztudós munkáira alapozva a „városhoz való jog” a városhoz, mint élettérhez való közös hozzáférést, valamint a város kialakításában való részvételt jelenti (a koncepcióról további információ tálalható a „források” részben).
A projekt alapja az a 12 napos ifjúsági fórum, melyen 20 fiatal cseh, magyar, lengyel és szlovák aktivista vesz részt 2010 márciusában.
Az ifjúsági fórum célja, hogy az aktivistáknak segítsen abban, hogy megismerjék a város lakóinak mindennapi tapasztalatait és kritikusan elemezzék a várost alakító társadalmi erőket globális és lokális szinten. A program ezen kívül lehetőséget kínál a résztvevőknek, hogy megvizsgálják és megosszák egymással aktivista tapasztalataikat, és közösen feltárják a további közös akciók szerevezésének lehetőségeit.
A fórum résztvevői a következő kérdésekre keresnek majd válaszokat:
Hogyan hozhatunk létre a társadalmi igazságosság elvén alapuló városokat? Mi a társadalmi igazságosság? Hogyan gyakorolhatjuk eredményesebben a városhoz való jogunkat? Milyen korlátok akadályozzák az egyes csoportokat és egyéneket e jog gyakorlásában? Kinek a jogai? Kinek a varosa?
Az ifjúsági fórum a nem-formális nevelés módszerereire, a tapasztalati tanulásra és a részvétel elvére épül. A program középpontjában a felfedezés és reflexió részvételközpontú megközelítése áll, a közös tudás együttes létrehozása, valamint a tapasztalaton alapuló, informális és nem formális tanulás. Mindemellett a fórum eszközöket kínál a fiatal városi aktivistáknak saját életük és képességeik, valamint közvetlen és tágabb környezetük fejlesztéséhez.
A nem formális elemek mellett a négy ország meghívott előadói gazdagítják a csere programját.
A projekt célja az ifjúsági fórum alatt felmerült ötletek és feltárt jó gyakorlatok széles körben való megismertetése is, melyet a fórum ideje alatt megrendezett nyilvános panelbeszélgetés és a résztvevők munkáit bemutató kiállítás segít elő. A fórum eredményeit cseh, angol, magyar, lengyel és szlovák nyelvű CD-romon és információs kiadványban tesszük közzé, melyet a résztvevő országok aktivistái és fiataljai között terjesztünk majd.
A projekt támogatói a Fiatalok Lendületben Program, a Visegrádi Alap és Budapest Főváros Önkormányzata.

I come from Budapest, and am a passionate city dweller: I couldn’t imagine living elsewhere, than in an urban environment. I study international relations and photography, and I am a member of the College for Social Theory, a grassroots student organization engaged in critical social sciences. My involvement in urban social movements goes from an everyday attitude of taking back the city by, for example, bicycling and going to neighborhood forums; through guerilla actions for an inclusive urban space; and through participation in the first steps of a squat-to-be, up to committed work in two important initiatives of urban social justice. These movements are: a grassroots organization fighting homelessness, which involves homeless and non-homeless activists; and a photovoice project initiated with young roma people in one of the most deprived neighborhoods of the city.
I hope that this meeting will help all of us in (re)constructing cities that are of human scale, are based on participation and local action, are diverse and inclusive, dynamic and free.

My name is Maroš Demovič. I´m 21 years old and I live in Bratislava – the capital city of Slovakia. At present I´m studying at Economic University in Vienna. One of my interests happens to be travelling and discovering new information about foreign countries, historical as well as geographical. Since the year 2005 I got used to be active in international volunteering. It was great experience for me to lead an international group of people in Slovakia or in Germany. I am keenly interested in acquiring more theoretical knowledge and practical skills in this area. My friends consider me to be friendly, skilful, independent and self-reliant. In my free time I like to play the piano and I also learn to play guitar. As for other activities, sport is of equal importance to me. I like jogging, cycling, skiing and football as it´s a team game – it needs communication among the players. My name is Lucia and I come from Slovakia. I am 23 and I currently study Arts Management at Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. I spent 3 years in Bratislava studying at VSMU and working in various organizations. Since 2007 I was part of a team called young4ba for 3 years. I cooperated within three editions of this program, which was led by Community Foundation Bratislava. I worked a lot with children and teenagers as a camp leader in summer camps and I also joined projects in Slovakia, Poland and Norway as a volunteer. As a future arts manager I am very much interested in organizing cultural events such as festivals, international exchanges and informal educational meetings. To me personally, Right to the city means a chance to meet people who are active (and want to make the people around to be active) in their city, share the experience, knowledge and get new ones as well.

Vít(ek)(Vítku) Masare is a volunteer collaborant in the Auto*Mat civic association that is aimed to promote biking as the best alternative for the individual transport within the city of Prague. He shares the idea that bikers bring much more life to the downtown than people passing through in their cars. As a tour guide for individual visitors of Prague he follows carefully the slow but existing development of services aimed on local and regular clients rather than on short-time profit from foreign visitors who aren't supposed to come again. His favourite public space is the not yet fully rediscovered river Vltava. No fear,no limits - Let's move!;)

After graduation on highschool I started to study at Economic University in Prague at Business faculty in a program of The Arts Management. I´m going to finish bachelor degree next academic year. This club organizes conferenciones, workshops and arts events and co-operates with other universities and other students clubs. My first main job except a school is a music manager and dramaturg in Arts factory/Cultural center KC Zahrada (KC Zahrada is modern organization which offers a place for artists and provides a cultural and art opportunities for people in Prague, the capital of Czech Republic.) and my second main job is an event assistant in Arts Institute in Ministry of Culture Czech Republic. Az Artemisszió Alapítvány 1998 óta nonprofit közhasznú szervezetként működik. Az Alapítvány fiatal kulturális antropológusok kezdeményezéseként jött létre, akik elméleti tudásukat és tudományos kutatási eredményeiket a társadalmi és egyéni fejlődés, és a nyitott gondolkodás kialakításának szolgálatába kívánják állítani. Az Alapítvány az interkulturális kommunikáció elméletének és gyakorlati alkalmazásának kutatása, terjesztése és felhasználása révén törekszik megvalósítani céljait.
Az Artemisszió Alapítvány céljai:
• a különböző kulturális, etnikai és társadalmi csoportok közötti párbeszéd és közeledés erősítése, a kölcsönös megértés elősegítése,
• a hátrányos helyzetű csoportok társadalmi integrációjának támogatása,
• a nemzetközi kulturális és tudományos kapcsolatok erősítése,
• interkulturális képzési programok, képzési anyagok és módszertan kifejlesztése és terjesztése.
Az Alapítvány küldetése, hogy a társadalom minél szélesebb rétegei számára lehetőséget biztosítson olyan tevékenységekben való részvételre, illetve olyan készségek elsajátítására, amelyek erősítik az emberek közötti kapcsolatokat, javítják a kommunikációs és konfliktuskezelési készségeket, hozzájárulnak a tolerancia, a kölcsönös megértés és az együttműködés kialakulásához. A FIYE lengyel civil szervezet, mely 1989-es megalakulása óta az ifjúsági önkéntesség területén dolgozik, különös tekintettel a nemzetközi ifjúsági csere programokra. Az elmúlt évek alatt a szervezet több önkéntes projektet sikerrel hajtott végre, köztük rövid távú nyári táborokat és hosszabb, 6-12 hónapos projekteket.
Nyaranta mintegy 200 külföldi fiatal vesz részt a szervezet nyári táboraiban. A FIYE külföldi, ifjúsági önkéntességgel foglalkozó partnerszervezeteivel történő sikeres együttműködésének köszönhetően megközelítőleg évi 200 lengyel fiatalt küld külföldi projektekben való részvételre. A nyári táborok mellett hosszabb távú programokat is szervez, melyekre átlagosan évi 12 külföldi fiatal érkezik.

Az INEX ifjúsági civil szervezet, melynek célja, hogy segítsen a fiataloknak közel kerülni egymáshoz nemzetiségtől, politikai vagy vallási irányultságuktól függetlenül. Az INEX tevékenységeinek központjában az ifjúsági mobilitás, önkéntesség és informális nevelés áll, önkéntes lehetőségeket kínál szlovák fiataloknak külföldön, és külföldi fiataloknak Szlovákiában. A szervezet önkéntes projektjei révén a helyi közösséget segíti szociális, környezetvédelmi és kulturális területeken. A fiatalok számára az önkéntesség pozitív változásokat hozhat, értékes tapasztalatokkal gazdagodhatnak, tanulhatnak egymástól valamint a más kultúrák képviselőivel valló találkozásokból.

A Prágai Multikulturális Központ nonprofit szervezet, fő területe a különböző kultúrák együttélése Csehországban és külföldön.
A szervezet céljai:
• Rámutatni, hogy a kultúrák együttélése gazdagabbá teszi társadalmunkat;
• A szociális integráció és kohézió értékeinek terjesztésével hozzájárulni a toleráns társadalom kialakulásához, mely nyitott a különbségek és a kulturális sokszínűség elfogadására Csehországban és annak határain túl;
• Elősegíteni a kultúrák közötti párbeszédet az EU-n belül és kívül, különböző kulturális és oktatási programok, nyilvános viták, kiadványok, kutatások valamint más szervezetekkel és egyénekkel való együttműködés révén Csehországban és külföldön.
1999-es megalakulása óta a szervezet számos oktatási, kulturális és információs kezdeményezést valósított meg. Műhelymunkákat, kurzusokat, nemzetközi szemináriumokat, vitákat, filmvetítéseket szervez gyerekeknek, tanulóknak, tanároknak, könyvtárosoknak és a közönség széles rétegeinek. Mindemellett internetes oldalt működtet a migráció és multikulturális könyvtár témában, utóbbi a szervezet által fenntartott jól felszerelt multikulturális tematikájú könyvtárhoz kapcsolódik.
